Criterion Grading, The Criterion Vault, and Criterion certification services are independent. They are not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC), American Numismatic Association Certification Service (ANACS), Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC), CAC Grading, or any other third-party grading, authentication, auction, or marketplace service unless Criterion expressly states otherwise in writing.
Third-Party Trademarks
PCGS and related names, logos, holder designs, and marks are trademarks or other protected property of Collectors Universe, Inc. NGC and related names, logos, holder designs, and marks are trademarks or other protected property of Certified Collectibles Group, its affiliates, or their licensors. CAC, CAC Grading, and related names, logos, holder designs, and marks are trademarks or other protected property of Certified Acceptance Corporation, CAC Grading, LLC, or their applicable owner. ANACS and related names, logos, holder designs, and marks belong to their applicable owner. All other third-party names, logos, product designs, and marks belong to their respective owners.
Reference Use
Criterion may identify a prior grading service, prior grade, certification number, auction firm, marketplace, or comparable-sale source when the reference is relevant to a crossover instruction, provenance record, security review, market comparison, or customer-requested service. These references are descriptive and informational only. They do not indicate that the identified third party reviewed, approved, or endorses Criterion's work.
Crossover & Prior-Holder Images
A crossover or provenance record may include images showing a coin in a pre-existing third-party holder. Those images are retained solely to document the received item, prior-holder identity, historical provenance, declared crossover information, chain of custody, or evidence reviewed during the service. A visible third-party name, logo, label, holder design, certification number, or other mark remains the property of its owner and does not create any affiliation or endorsement.
Criterion does not alter a historical evidence image to suggest that a third party participated in Criterion certification. Where practical, captions identify the image as prior-holder, legacy, crossover, or historical evidence.
The Criterion Vault
The Criterion Vault may display Criterion certification data, customer-saved information, historical holder images, and external public sales records. Criterion does not assign or publish a Criterion market value. Any third-party sales comparison is identified by source and is presented as independent market evidence, not as an appraisal, guarantee, investment recommendation, or Criterion opinion of value.
Reporting a Concern
A trademark owner or authorized representative who believes that Criterion content inaccurately identifies a mark or implies an association may contact service@criteriongrading.com. Please identify the mark, the affected page or certification, and the basis for the request.
