FOUR DISTINCT CONTEXTS
One coin can have more than one legitimate reference.
Dealer / Wholesale reflects an authorized bid or dealer-market reference. Collector / Retail reflects a licensed consumer reference. Auction Realized reports eligible completed sales. Marketplace Asking reports what sellers currently request and is never treated as a completed sale.
Criterion-derived statistics use eligible, deduplicated realized sales. Sponsored placement and affiliate compensation are excluded from every valuation calculation.
Verified Provenance
Source record, observation date, retrieval time, currency, buyer’s-premium status, and normalization version remain traceable.
Responsible Samples
One sale is labeled only as the most recent comparable. Median and range require at least three eligible sales; trend calculations require at least four.
